Conducted Operations are:

Regarding problems arisen from constructional stages, distributed leakages in left and right tunnels in average amount of 60 liters in second, with 2.5 bar pressure in both tunnels, also leakage in top expansion joints of clay core in every four culvert openings in average amount of 200 liters in second with 2.5 bar pressure was observed. For resolving available problems and with discarding formalities, PAM.CO Company concluded a contract with East Azerbaijan Regional Water Organization and began to work according to the following explanations:   

1-Water discharging from inside of tunnels and culvert, using several strong pump devices.

2- Opening of tunnels emergency trap-door, in 23 meter depth, carrying instruments and scaffold required materials and scaffold board to inside of tunnel and installation of scaffold at the desired places.

3-Openning on leakage places, repairing surfaces and sealing of leakages using fix 10 s special material temporarily, drilling and putting packer, injecting of one and two component resins for permanent sealing.  

4-Constructing metal mould with one side of rubber and installing them on expansion joints in culvert openings for primary sealing and preventing of injection resins pouring, up to completing the reaction time

5-Drilling, putting packer and hose inside joints for resins injection and permanent sealing of leakage places.

Volume of work:

1–Number of joints having leakage has been 19 and also length of them all in all, has been 684 meter.

2-Distributed leakages in tunnel body were also sealed with presented details.
